My parents, the founders started this company together as a means to make a healthier and overall more natural product. Our goal was to create something comparatively less harsh compared to other brands who still remain using paraffin wax. Having a sensitive nose and having negative reactions to other brands candles is what really sparked the interest for my parents to start this company. Appearing in craft shows and through the use of word of mouth, the candle business has sparked an interest in the Rutland area and many states across the US. We hope to continue to grow and bring delight to your senses, lighting one candle at a time.
Soy wax is an all natural, healthier alternative to other candle companies wax. Soy has little to zero petro soot which results in a clean and healthy burn. This natural burn results in you leaving excess toxins out of your lungs and out of the air. A majority of competitors candles are made with paraffin wax which have similar toxins to that which have been found in diesel fuel flames. These toxins have been known to cause lung cancer and asthma if inhaled regularly. Paraffin wax is notoriously harmful to the environment, not only being a non-renewable resource but also appearing in natural disasters such as oil spills.
The pros of burning soy candles outweigh the pros of paraffin wax candles as soy candles produce a slow burn which ultimately lasts longer, creating more sustainable ways to purchase candles. The products we provide lack color as a way to keep the candles as clean and elegant as possible. Clean fragrance combined with clean smoke and a green alternative amplify the senses and create the ultimate candle experience. Even though dye is lacking in our candles we strive to keep the candles more natural. The scents used we find to be distinguishable and cater to the nose where the average consumer throws away the need to add excessive accessories such as a vibrant candle color.
